With the upcoming release of her EP, “Be Your Own Kind of Beautifulâ€, Meredith is reconnecting with her artistic voice & some of her most personal music is beginning to surface: songs about recognizing our darkest internal recesses & shining a light on them, songs about bravery and songs about hope. As part of an outreach project for her current single release, “Shine Again,†she is affiliating with charities to raise awareness for depression awareness & suicide prevention.

I had just finished a set at a local bar in Nashville. The guy who booked the night asked if another player could borrow my keyboard. I said sure, "Who?" He said," Johnny Neel, he played with the Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule, etc...." wow! it was an honor to hear him play my little Privia.
I was rockin' and rollin' during an emotional moment of song and a leg from my chair got stuck between the back of the stage and the wall behind it! My chair tilted back and I almost went flying! The audience was super cool about it :)
My first instrument is a bundy student alto saxophone! I played for many years from middle school through early college. Yes I still have it and it gives me such joy to pick it up from time to time. Feels like an old dear friend.
