- Rock
(Martin Lynch) - One of the craziest moments is when I was deployed to Afghanistan. Myself and another guy were doing a duo show for the troops and sure enough, we get a rocket attack. We hit the floor, and while im lying on my back, I start a guitar solo. Good thing I had a wireless system back then. Luckily, no one was hurt and continued on with the show.
(Terry Lynch) - I was playing a gig at a local bar and as I was preforming there was a couple who were having a heated argument and in a fit of rage this man took a chair and threw it across the dance floor right into my guitar stand completely taking out my 12 string Ovation Acoustic Guitar as well as my #1 Wine Burst Fender Stratocaster. I have never seen a man run away from me so fast haha (Yes he was caught, and damages were payed)
As a band our first ever live performance was held at a venue that had their own front of house sound system that was drastically different to what our current set up had been. one thing we had not considered was the fact that this venue had a very robust set of subwoofers under the stage for their low end. at the time we were not using a low end/Sub mix and we had all of our bass frequencies EQ'ed to our speakers which did not produce nearly as much low end as this venue. The moment our first song had started there was such a over load of bass frequencies that it made this entire venue shake like a earthquake. we us In Ear monitors so all we felt was this massive surge of low end through the stage but our mix in our ears was normal so we continued, as we watched our sound tech franticly try and fix what was happening to the front of house. Our sound technician was able to fix this problem quickly but I must say it was quite hard to ignore this as we played through the issue haha
