More About Jeffrey Hellman
Growing up, I first wanted to be an actor. Then I discovered I liked writing and music and started writing songs. For many years I could only have music as a hobby. In 2012 I finally had time to work on my playing and singing and got serious. 5 years later I had a bunch of new material worked up and a band to play it with. My dream come true. Unfortunately, in September 2018, my health took a wrong turn and I am no longer able to play with the band. I feel lucky to still be able to play, solo, at home in my studio and here on the internet.

Embarrassing Moment
Was performing at a shopping center in Sonoma when a member of Metallica came up with his family and shook my hand. So embarrassed I am to say I didn't recognize him at the time : >?)
My Instrument
My first guitar was a Danelectro my Dad bought for me when I was 14. I had a lot of issues in my teen years and that guitar ended up in pieces that were tossed out a 4th floor window. Needless to say, doing so did not resolve any of my frustrations.
