I enjoy playing bluegrass, folk, country and traditional songs and tunes on the guitar, mandolin and fiddle. I started playing guitar at an early age, then in more recent years took up the fiddle and mandolin. Now, I play in a bluegrass band. Just here on SJ to have fun and, hopefully, entertain.

Life on the Street
I don't do any solo busking, but my band plays a variety of venues, including farmers markets, libraries, pubs, festivals and other events. We've had many interesting, funny and rewarding experiences while playing out, including barking dogs, kids grabbing our instruments, torrential rain, and very appreciative senior citizens singing along. Now, we can add cancelled gigs due to a worldwide pandemic to our band's story.
My Instrument
My primary guitar is an Epiphone Hummingbird. I also have a Yamaha FG-365 guitar. My mandolin is a Loar LM-700 F style. My fiddle is a Fiddlerman Soloist.
