I started playing guitar at the age of 9, grew up listening to classic rock in the 90s and was able to graduate my classical guitar studies in the Berlin University of Arts. Alongside my classical training, I love playing electric and bass guitar as well. I've been improvising since I was 10, so I always appreciated music for its meditative quality as well as a way to improve somebody's mood. For my concert on here on Street Jelly I decided to mainly improvise, as well as put some of my favorite little pieces together.I hope, you'll enjoy it. Thank you for tuning in! Cheers!
Fun Stuff about the Artist
Life on the Street
I only played twice on the street, once with a fellow classical guitarist using amplification for the first time and once acoustically, without amplification with a saxophone player and an a percussionist. Regarding the latter, I was lucky to get some money at all considering no one heard the acoustic guitar
Embarrassing Moment
Once we performed on the street and were told by a passer by that we aren't allowed to use amplification without a licence from the Berlin authorities. We looked each other awkwardly not knowing what we should say to that and then he just said," Just put your small amp in a back pack and you'll be fine"
