Generally speaking, life for me is pretty chill. I'm a bit of an advocate for chillness. I think there's not enough of it in the world.
Playing a set at a cannabis festival on the Big Island without realizing I hadn't turned the amp on. But it was ok because no one else noticed either. I'm pretty fastidious about being a sober player: well, whoops this time.
I play a custom built superstrat(built by me) w/ a maple neck, and ash body. It goes straight into the clean channel of a Mesa MkV.
Otherwise it's my Taylor 315ce. I play it tuned down a whole step so it doesn't utterly ruin my hands.
I do teach guitar as well, and I play an unusual style that not a lot of people do anymore, basically a fingerstyle claw hand technique. It's a great skill set especially for the solo performer to jazz up what might be rather simplistic songs otherwise, and that's very useful stuff. I'm happy to schedule lessons online for sensible rates. It doesn't matter to me if you're a complete beginner. I can get you off to a great start. In fact, that's likely even best, as I try to teach an understanding of music from the start that will show you principles rather than requiring you to remember a whole lot of stuff that just ends up being frustrating and no fun. If you want to learn to play, the key word IS "play." Have fun! Cheers!
